carbon
Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is one of the most responsible for global warming, and together with other gases emitted in excess into the atmosphere, it increases the Earth's temperature and can cause serious climate problems, such as droughts, floods and a decrease in food production.
Low-Carbon Economy

Given projections pointing to a rise in the planet's temperature over the next 20 years, we must act now for a low-carbon economy to help combat the climate crisis. Our eucalyptus plantations and native forest conservation areas are great allies in overcoming these challenges.
Between 2020 and 2024, we removed 29.4 million tonnes of CO2 from the atmosphere, considering scopes 1, 2 and part of scope 3. For more information, visit the Climate page.

Sustainable alternatives
In addition to removing CO2 of the atmosphere, we recognize that it is also necessary to reduce its emission. That's why we seek sustainable alternatives to make our operation even more climate friendly. Learn about some of our actions.
