ESG Indices and Ratings

ISE

The Corporate Sustainability Index (ISE, in Portuguese) of B3, the Brazilian Stock Exchange, is a tool that analyzes the performance of publicly-traded companies from the perspective of corporate sustainability, social justice, environmental balance and corporate governance. We have been part of the index since 2021.

Sustainalytics

Sustainalytics is a global ESG research, ratings and analytics company that supports investors around the world with the development and implementation of responsible investment strategies.

MSCI

Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) provides investment decision tools and analytical services, in addition to assigning MSCI ESG ratings, which aim to assess a company's ability to address long-term challenges related to environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues. The ratings range from AAA to CCC. Since January 2023, we have had a BB rating.

CDP

CDP is an independent, international non-profit organization that runs the most comprehensive global environmental impact assessment and disclosure system to support companies, cities, states and regions. We are one of the five Brazilian companies evaluated that have an A score in at least one of three criteria on the list (Water Security); we also have an A- score in Climate Change and Forests.

Sustainable Finance

Sustainability is a highly relevant topic for different areas, including finance. Therefore, investments in companies and activities committed to respecting and valuing ESG aspects, an acronym in English for environmental, social and governance, are growing. According to a survey by the consulting firm PWC, 79% of investors believe that ESG issues are important factors in their investment decision-making.
